Governing the Just Urban Transition: Postdoctoral Research Fellowship Call

This is a call for recent doctoral graduates to apply for one Postdoctoral Research Fellowship in the NRF-funded Governing the Just Urban Transition project at the Politics and Urban Governance Research Group, UWC. The Postdoctoral Research Fellowship is for two-years starting in 2025 (R300 000 annual funding)..

Requirements:

• • Candidates should hold a relevant degree in fields such as political studies, geography, sociology, regional and urban planning, development studies, economics

• • Candidates must hold a Doctoral degree completed not more than 5 years ago

• • Be 45 years of age or younger

• • Be an outstanding and innovative researcher whose accomplishments have the potential to make a major impact in his/ her field.

• • Be experienced in qualitative research (data collection and analysis).
